Wimbledon, 1 July 2023

It's now July. We've passed the summer solstice and Glastonbury is over. Did you enjoy Elton John's last UK performance? Hope you're enjoying the lovely weather. It was worrying in the week when the BBC app/ website forecast 7 degrees daytime, 6 degrees at night! Apparently it was a technical glitch.  For the sports fans amongst you we now have two weeks of Wimbledon, Tour de France and cricket! In the shop this week we have local organic produce: Batavia lettuce, beetroot and Khol Rabi. We also getting delicious Galia melons, flat peaches and blueberries from Spain.

King and Queen in Pickering, 17 June 2023

We're having lovely warm weather at the moment but it also coincides with hay fever time and unwanted insect bites. We now stock Amour Natural summer essential oils mostly organic and produced in the UK. The 'Stop Bugging' me comes in a roller ball and refill bottle, which can be rolled straight onto the skin when spending time outdoors especially evening events. For indoors for those annoying flies there is a pure essential oil blend for use with a diffuser. And if you do get bitten we have a soothing Thai balm.
