Health food store & farm shop, Pickering
Today is the Ides of March - the midpoint of the Roman month Martius. It's lovely to see the sunshine but it's still cold - why not make this simple but delicious Broccoli soup. I'm going to put in an order for fresh organic chicken, beef, lamb, pork, sausages and bacon to be in the shop towards the end of the week. If you would like me to order you something please let me know by Monday (17th). Monday will be St Patrick's Day so you could cook an Irish stew at the weekend after you've put in your meat order!
