Shop holidays, 9 September 2023

Well two weeks from the last blog and wow what a change in the weather! By Tuesday it will be back to normal. I've had a visit from my Canadian brother and family. It's been lovely because we've been able to be outside and picnic with the children. My sister-in-law is a very talented artist and we have a range of her hand painted greetings cards in the shop - see our Facebook page for details.

Tomato soup, 26 August 2023

It's August Bank Holiday weekend, the last holiday before schools go back. It's starting to feel more autumnal in the mornings. At this time of year we have lots of lovely local produce in the shop - Cavalo Nero, Broccoli, Cauliflowers, Fennel, Savoy Cabbage, Leeks and Potatoes. We also have UK Aubergine and delicious Piel de Sapo Melons (quarters/ halves or whole). See the price guide for details.
