Today is the first official day of Autumn and known as the Autumn equinox. It's definitely feeling more autumnal. We are starting to see autumn produce in the shop - Butternut Squash, local Savoy cabbages
and Windsor apples, the first of this season's UK apples. This time of year soups come to mind, have you tried Roasted Butternut Squash soup by our local chef James Martin? Just to remind you that due to family commitments the shop will be closed from Wednesday 27 - Friday 29 September inclusive, reopening Saturday 30 September. There will be plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables arriving on Tuesday 26 September, see the price guide for details. We'll keep the shop open until 3pm. I'll be doing the deliveries on the morning of Wednesday 27 September.
