It's August Bank Holiday weekend, the last holiday before schools go back. It's starting to feel more autumnal in the mornings. At this time of year we have lots of lovely local produce in the shop - Cavalo Nero, Broccoli, Cauliflowers, Fennel, Savoy Cabbage, Leeks and Potatoes. We also have UK Aubergine and delicious Piel de Sapo Melons (quarters/ halves or whole). See the price guide for details. Here's a lovely recipe for Tomato soup espcially if you've got a glut of home grown tomatoes but of course we've delicious UK tomatoes on the vine which you can use.
