Lovely to have the longer days even though it's still cold. We must get outside as much as possible to help our bodies build up their Vitamin D but wrap up warm! My sister has been watching a podcast about Osteoporosis and how to reduce our chances of developing it in later life. Tim Spector from Zoe says eat plenty and a wide range of plants - see this week's fruit and vegetable price guide for availability. We have fresh Turmeric which counts towards our 30 a week. We also should be doing more exercise. If we're mobile a one hour walk three times a week is very good for our bones etc. Why not make some Leek and Potato soup for when you return from your walk!
