Well a lot has happened in a fortnight. For the car drivers I hope you have managed to get fuel. Things now seem to be getting a bit better but do get your Christmas orders in as soon as possible. We will have pumpkins in the shop this week even though it's three weeks to Halloween! We also have melons to enjoy in this mild weather - see the price guide for details.

What a lovely sunny week with spectacular sunsets and a Harvest Moon! Such a treat for my sister who has been staying in Ayton. She enjoyed walks down traffic-free Forge Valley and along the old railway line behind Wykeham station with a rucksack of fruit snacks from the shop!
