It's been so cold and wet. It looks as if the temperature will rise by the end of next week, just after Midsummer's Day. News from the shop - we have TeloMind and Amino Boosters back in stock together with organic essential oils tea tree, lavender and caster oil. This week we will have purple sweet potatoes and the first UK pointed cabbages. Make the most of the asparagus as it's coming towards the end of its short season. See our priceguide for details. On Friday we will have an organic meat delivery: g/f sausages, minced beef, stewing steak, cooked ham and bacon.
It's with great sadness we learnt about the tragic death of Dr Michael Moseley. His BBC podcast Just One Thing was very very popular. He covered the importance of tumeric, eating an apple a day, how linseed/flax seed can reduce inflammation, blood pressure etc etc. Our thoughts go out to his family.
