It's much colder today as we hurtle towards Christmas. Take care because it's going to be a cold night with frost. This Sunday is 'Stir Up Sunday', the last Sunday before Advent, when traditionally we make our Christmas puddings. We have all the ingredients if you haven't made yours already! We also have some dairy-free Advent calendars and spices for making mulled wine. We are still taking orders for Christmas poultry and gluten-free Christmas cakes with or without icing.

It's Bonfire Night tonight. Halloween and Bonfire Night seem to blend in to one with fireworks going off for nearly a week. A lot of pet owners are worried about their animals who are frightened by the fireworks. Are Bonfire Night traditions fizzling out? Here's an interesting article.
It is still lovely to have some Yorkshire Parkin at this year! It should have been made a while ago for it to moisten but hey ho it will still taste good!
